The Diversity Trial Bundle is the best way to discover different coffee species.
Each of the three 300g packs contains a different coffee species and was grown and harvested with great knowledge and passion, and processed with the utmost care. All three coffees come from small producers.
With the Diversity Trial Bundle you can find out the differences between these species. Did you know that most of the world's coffee production is Coffea Arabica, followed by Coffea Canephora? And only about 1% of worldwide production is Coffea Liberica.
Each of these coffee species, in turn, has many of its own varieties.
The most well-known Coffea Arabica varieties are, for example: Typica and Bourbon. For Coffea Canephora, they are called: Robusta and Old Peridinia.

We roast the Diversity Trial Bundle with the utmost care and dedication to perfection.
All our coffees have been roasted for the espresso machine. But they also work wonderfully in a French press and Bialetti Moka pot.
Our brewing recommendations:
Canephora:
18g in / 2x25ml out (1 : 2.75) two cups / portafilter 2-way spout in 21 seconds
Temperature: 88-90 degrees
Special:
Canephora must be ground very finely and, in our experience, tastes better after degassing for at least 2 weeks and being extracted at lower temperatures.
Arabica:
19g in / 25ml out (1 : 1.3) one cup / bottomless portafilter in 25 seconds
Temperature: 93-95 degrees
Special:
Definitely prepare in a bottomless portafilter. It creates a more beautiful crema and a fuller mouthfeel!
Liberica:
18g in / 2x30ml out (1 : 3.33) two cups / portafilter 2-way spout in 23 seconds
Temperature: 92-94 degrees

Attention:
All our brewing recommendations were created on a La Marzocco GS3 with a BWT water filter by our mustache barista Weily.
Your coffee machine will most likely run a different pressure profile and has certainly been cleaned more regularly than Ueli deems necessary. And no one presses with the tamper as hard as Mustache Weily.
Please use these recommendations as a starting point and slowly adjust to your perfect extraction times and settings to your taste.
